Anytime we leave God out of our lives we get into trouble. Oftentimes this leaving out involves the progression that is described in Psalm 1:1. First, we walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Second, this walking eventually leads us to stand in the way of sinners. And then, third, in the end, we sit in the seat of the scornful.
